Featuring a titanium finish this refrigerator will bring a classic sleek look to
any modern kitchen. One of the advantages of a side by side unit is that it is designed to make all of your food
and drinks easily accessible. With both doors swinging open you can easily see all of your stored items and having
dual doors allows for more door storage area. The side by side design is also a very modern look that is
very popular today in new homes. If your looking for a side by side refrigerator in this size range consider the
LG 26.0
A few of the options that you might like in this unit are a door ice and
water dispenser as well as a bioshield antibacterial door shield. The water dispenser in the door is
especially nice if you have children who are constantly in search of cold water and you don’t want them opening and
closing the door all the time. Not having to open the doors just to get water also cuts down on dirty fingerprints
and smudges. The antibacterial door shield is a great idea because it helps to the mold and mildew that you can
have growing around the seal of your refrigerator door, especially if you live in very humid areas.
LG is a well known manufacturer of appliances and this model is both sleek looking
and innovative as well. If you are looking for a refrigerator side by side that will complement your modern kitchen
this is an elegant looking model that you should be pleased with.
One negative worth mentioning is that some owners have reported problems with the indoor water and ice dispenser
leaking. If you are really in love with this refrigerator you may want to consider an extended warranty in
this particular case, something we don’t normally recommend.
If you looking fora a stylish looking side by side refrigerator with good storage space and nice options
you should consider the LG 26.0

Pros: sleek, modern styling; Lot's more space inside.; door ajar alarm; separate fruit and veggie drawers; lots
of space; Noise free. (Almost); water and ice in door
Cons: take doors off 2 fit front door; waterline leaked at delivery; Water & Ice dispenser breaks down
often
My fiance & I purchased the LG refrigerator when we remodeled our home, however, it was an open item purchase.
The associate at Bestbuy, where we purchased it told us it was in perfect working condition but come to find out
the water & ice dispenser wasn't working. We called several technicians who had no idea what they were doing,
b/c they kept replacing parts that had nothing to do with the dysfunction. Bestbuy warranty department was not
helpful at all and were very rude to us. I had to take off work twice to wait for them to come to by home to fix it
b/c they refused to give me a timefram prior to the day they were to come out. Finally, we called LG and they
refered us to a technician who diagnosed the correct problem and had the entire freezer door replaced. Now, our
refrigerator works perfect! I love the fact that it's touch screen and has a door alarm and room temperature
reading. It's a pretty big refrig too :-)

Pros: Easy controls.; separate fruit and veggie drawers; Noise free. (Almost); sleek, modern styling
Cons: take doors off 2 fit front door; no egg/butter storage space
Got the LG Refrigerator with french doors and a freezer on the bottom. The refrigerator part seems to hold a lot of
items with shelves that are adjustable in height. The freezer on the bottom however is a nightmare. It is like a
giant bin. All the frozen items get stacked on top of one another causing a total reorganization everytime you need
to take something out. Locating items is difficult. There is a small shelf and an icemaker over the big bin.
Whenever the ice maker is on it continually makes ice - doesn;t even stop when it is full! Then when the freezer
draw is opened the ice gets pushed out and ends up on the floor. Not a very well designed refrigerator. I feel that
the door alarm is annoying as it goes off when I'm digging through the freezer bin looking for that lost pack of
hamburgers. Yes, I know the door is open.

Pros: Lot's more space inside.
Cons: Very poor performance; waterline leaked at delivery
I read reviews before I bought the LG brand... People who liked it loved it those that didn't like it absolutely
hated it. I took a chance...BIG MISTAKE! We received it yesterday and had problems immediately. The water dispenser
on the door is a waterfall! When you push the dispense button water cascades down the entire front of the freezer
door and keeps on dribbling even after the dispenser button is released. It continues to leak down the door to the
point where I have to put towels on the floor to catch the water. Also bothersome is the ice maker. It makes ice
very slowly. So far only 6 cubes in a 12 hour period. At times it is rather noisy. I guess this is when the motor
is running. Don't be swayed by the large capacity of this unit because in return you will get a large headache!
